Three members of the hob'art gallery will present artwork in the mediums of photography, printmaking and digital printmaker for the COLOR VISIONS exhibit.
Constance Ftera has been concentrating on printmaking for several years, most recently using the monoprint technique with a repeatable matrix of intaglio line and added color on the same printing plate. This allows experimentation in color, design, and medium.
Howard Berelson’s transition from children’s book illustrator to printmaker, to artist in residence and now to digital print maker spanned over forty years. Teaching children of all ages gave Howard a way in which to reconnect with a child’s delight in discovery. A book of illustrated poetry is now in progress.
Ann Taricone Kinney has a camera with her all the time. Living and working in New Jersey she derives much her inspiration and imagery from the Jersey Shore. Her images come from nature with an underlying current of earth, water, fire, air and the human force. The images that intrigue her, combine shape and color, time and place, and tell the stories that we share.
